Norm Goodkin, PMP Norm has been managing IT efforts since the mid 1970's. Prior to forming his own consulting business in 1986, he held positions as Senior Director and Vice President of IT. As an individual contributer, Norm started as a hardware diagnostic programmer, writing in assembly language - he later developed effective skills in Product Assurance, and Operations Support working for a large software integration and services company. In his ten years as a senior IT manager and in his subsequent consulting practice, he has applied his technical and business knowledge to project management and control, process reengineering, system design, and vendor management - he has provided services for large IT projects on the East and West Coasts, and spent many years in the UK. He has worked for the business side and IT management, to bridge the gap between the technical and non-technical stakeholders. Norm enjoys learning new technical and business models and has become skilled in recognizing problems and formulating solutions, technical and non-technical.
